FATIPEC, the European Federation of Coatings Scientists organises every 2 years its well known European Congress.
The 29th FATIPEC Congress will be held from June 9th until June 11th, 2008 in Ghent -  Belgium.

ATIPIC, the Belgian association of technicians of paint, ink and related industries and member of FATIPEC, is the organiser of the Congress.
We have the honour to invite you to attend this event.

The theme of the Congress is:
RECENT INNOVATIONS AND FUTURE CHALLENGES FOR THE COATINGS AND INK INDUSTRIES

Today, more and more challenges face the coatings industry such as development of new performing raw materials, new analytical and testing methods, these all in line to respond to VOC-, REACH- legislations and putting “Responsible Care” into practice.

In addition to plenary lectures, original and unpublished communications will be presented by European as well as lecturers from over the world. Different awards will be allocated to best papers.

FATIPEC invites the other associations member of CSI (FSCT, JSCM, OCCA, SLF, SCAA, SCANZ, SATER and STAR) to attend the Congress.

By participating in the 29th FATIPEC Congress you will benefit from a high level scientific programme and taste the pleasures of Belgian culture and hospitality in Ghent, a lovely medieval city. The venue of the congress 'Het Pand' is a monastery from the 13th century, totally restructured for conferences and meetings.
